I named my now 3 year old son Jalen after you. I followed your NCAA career and NBA career all the way from Australia.
It’s great to know the origins of the name so I can tell my son when he gets older. I’ve got an autographed bball card of you too for him to keep.

I’ve known this story for a long time and I’ve always thought it was a unique way to get your name. The best part is to know that your name means more than just letters that make up a sound…I’ve always admired your name and even though my son’s a Jr, I promise if I’m ever blessed to have another little boy, he will be named after my favorite player: Jalen Anthony and nobody will stop that!
