Jalen Rose pits his personal tastes against some of the league’s
notable personalities. Up this month: Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban.
FAORITE BREAKFAST CEREAL:
Jalen Rose: Apple
Jacks. Every kid when I was growing up made them seem prestigious, and
not to many cereals can taste good without milk. Everyone has run out
of milk at least once when they really wanted cereal.
Mark Cuban: Golden Grahams. I have to be careful because I can eat a whole box in a sitting.
FAVORITE HAIR PRODUCT:
Jalen Rose: Murray’s Pomade. What brother hasn’t purchased Murray’s Pomade and a Diane hairbrush at one point in their life?
Mark Cuban: Jheri curl. Ever since I saw Coming to America, I’ve been addicted.
BEST FAST FOOD SANDWICH:
Jalen Rose: Fried bologna with mayo, bread, cheddar cheese and lettuce. This is the only urban sandwich that can be considered gourmet.
Mark Cuban:
7-elven tuna fish sandwich. Believe it or not, I usually grab one every
week. I probably know where more 7-elevens are in more cities than any
human being.
BEST BOY BAND:
Jalen Rose: The "original" Jackson 5. Don’t compare those photos to the current photos. You might not recognize them.
Mark Cuban: ‘NSync… my buddy Chris Kilpatrick is the man. I will be first in line for their comeback.
YOUR GO-TO DANCE MOVE IN THE CLUB:
Jalen Rose: The two-step. I grew up in an era when Billy Dee Williams was cool… what did you expect?
Mark Cuban:
It’s a toss up between doing the Sprinkler and doing the Soulja Boy.
Back in the day, I would pull out the MC Hammer pants, but I stepped it
up after Dancing with the Stars.
