2004: JRose Named Raptors Community MVP for February

Feb. 2004 – Since arriving in Toronto, Jalen has participated in the
team visit to the Hospital for Sick Kids, the Raptors Development
Academy and the Raptors Foundation King Pin Bowling Tournament. He has
also begun The Rose Garden, a new ticket donation initiative, which is
provided on behalf of the Jalen Rose Foundation. This program brings 20
youth to every Raptors home game and each guest receives a Rose Garden
jersey. This month, Jalen was the spokesman for the Raptors Goodwill
Winter Clothing Drive for which he personally purchased over 100 new
coats to kick off the event.
