2005 — Giving back is one of the major tenets of the BLACK ENTERPRISE
Declaration Of Financial Empowerment. In doing so, they advocate using
money to develop our community and build wealth. From education to
health, African Americans pump billions into charities and causes,
fueling their clout and mission to change the world… and Jalen is no
exception. Black Enterprise Magazine put Jalen on the list of America’s
Leading Black Philanthropists as a Leading Individual Donor for his
work through The Jalen Rose Foundation. He finds his name on a
prestigious list of donors including Oprah Winfrey, Sheila C. Johnson
