I 100% agree Jalen. I actually respect the way you said it – but I know you were just being polite due to your current role in the media.
I think your real thoughts are….David Stern, are you INSANE??? That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard!!! Seriously, it’ll never happen.
Interesting topic though as always. Great website man!

I can see women playing in the NBA. In my opinion, the incorporation of the WNBA into the NBA would be a great strategic move interms of increased profits and marketing. Currently, the WNBA stats in terms of profits and marketing are low. Viewership is down and it just does not have the same umph as the NBA. So, the NBA has to do something to revive womans baseketball or else it will fade away. Additionally, you made some good points regarding the differences between women and men playing basketball, and I do agree, however, women do not have to play necessarily side-by-side with men, but as part of the institution itself. The NBA has a lot of work cut out for itself, but I believe it will happen, should happen, sooner than later is best.
I agree 100% A woman CAN NOT compete with a man physically. That is crazy to even think so. I am a woman and I believe in equal rights and all that but some things just should not be. Playing any contact sport with a man is a INSANE. The average height of an NBA player far surpasses the average height of women period! I think it would effect the integrity of the game for women to play in the NBA because CLEARLY rules would have to change. I mean for real a woman going up against a player as large as Shaq? ARE U SERIOUS? Unless the woman is as big and strong as an NBA player and Lord I hope not she needs to play in the WNBA- its safer for her
I do not think that they need to put both leagues together(wnba and nba) but I think there needs to be 1 woman just come in and prove that woman could play against men and succeed in a respectful manner and be a positive role models for young girls.
